Video games giant Nintendo Co Ltd has announced plans to release a number of new Mario games with classic titles and features in a bid to celebrate its 35 years since the initial launch of Super Mario Bros.

The Mario brand quickly grew in popularity across the world, satisfying customers with amazing virtual experiences that were second to none at the time.

This re-release will feature popular game character Mario, who will appear in the game for a limited period of time.

Nintendo is set to release this game changer on its Nintendo Switch Console and is guaranteed to give gamers a near nostalgic feeling as they explore classic features that birthed the initial love for the Nintendo gaming experience.

Nintendo hopes to achieve a lot with this new re-release, the most notable being the promotion of their flagship Switch device's bare gaming pipeline in preparation of the end of year shopping season and would reassure investors who are of the opinion that the company should exploit the previous catalogue of best-selling titles.

Nintendo highlights three of the classic titles that will be included in the re-release, featuring Super Mario; the plumber with a unique moustache. They include; 2007's Super Mario Galaxy, 2002's Super Mario Sunshine, and 1996's Super Mario 64.

The new title Super Mario 3D All-Stars will go on sale from the 18th of September 2020, and will feature the above classic titles.

Excitement and interest among vintage game lovers continue to fester as Nintendo includes the first venture of Mario into the 3D gaming platform, which became a huge leap forward for the gaming industry. Although that excitement may become tempered as Nintendo also disclosed that the sale will last till the end of March 2021.

With this latest disclosure, the Nintendo company shares have skyrocketed into a 12 year high, as there is a sudden spike in demand for the Switch device and classic titles like: Animal Crossing: New Horizons, among video game enthusiasts who are seeking escape as they endure the horrors of a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Japan-based company has also revealed that they plan to release a Mario Kart toy that will be controlled with the Switch. Also included will be a version of the Watch device and handheld game that will feature Super Mario Bros. Video game lovers will once again be reminded why Mario became an amazing addition to every household in the 1990s and early 2000s. There is great optimism that the idea will be a huge success as the classics and the love for the Super Mario character will be rekindled.
