Twitter account of PM Narendra Modi's personal website hacked

Twitter confirmed that the account was hacked and investigations are on

A group claimed to be John Wick hacked the Twitter account linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's personal website Thursday. This is the second such incident on the micro blogging platform. In July several high profile accounts including that of Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Gates, and Elon Musk were taken out and the hackers put out messages seeking donation using bitcoin.

Twitter says that they have taken steps to secure the compromised account and are actively investigating the situation.

After taking over the account the hacker put out series of tweets seeking donations for the prime ministers relief fund for COVID-19 using bitcoins. The message said, “This account is hacked by John Wick (hckindia@tutanota.com), we have not hacked Paytm Mall.
