Siddharth Pithani, who was Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate, allegedly accused Rhea Chakraborty of using the late actor's card for shopping
Guwahati: In another recent twist to the investigation into the unnatural death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Siddharth Pithani, who was Rajput’s flatmate, allegedly accused Rajput's 'girlfriend' Rhea Chakraborty of using the actor's card for shopping.
In a recent interview with a news channel, Pithani revealed that Rajput’s manager Samuel Miranda had once told him that Rhea would often use the late actor’s card for shopping. Pithani on Saturday was also questioned by the CBI.
As per reports, even Rhea was seen leaving the CBI guesthouse after being grilled by the investigating agency for seven hours. She was seen leaving the guesthouse with her brother Showik Chakraborty.
Moreover, Pithani also claimed that Rajput had asked him to delete all his videos and data from the hard drives. He also added that Rajput was quite disturbed by Disha Salian’s death and had even asked Pithani to sleep in his room.
As more details arise in the curious death case of Rajput, the Central Bureau of Investigation, Narcotics Control Bureau and Enforcement Directorate are all investigating the case from different angles. These new claims by Pithani are sure to grab attention as the investigation continues.
On Saturday, Pithani was questioned by the CBI along with Rhea Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda in the same room. Only Rhea’s brother Showik was questioned in a separate room.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai in a TV news channel, Rhea broke her silence and vehemently denied all allegations that were thrown at her. She spilled the beans into the alleged Bhatt texts, living off on Sushant, giving him drugs, her alleged connection to Aditya Uddhav Thackeray, and many more.
