Guwahati: Jalandhar-based celebrity fitness trainer, bodybuilder, and model Satnam Khattra passed away on Saturday after a heart attack.

According to reports, the 31-year-old was not doing well for the last few days and was holding online fitness classes during the COVID-19 lockdown. The news of his demise was shared by his coach Rohish Mishra.

Khattra was popular for his massive biceps and has been training many celebrities in Punjab. He was once addicted to drugs but he sobered up and found his drive-in physical fitness and bodybuilding for the past eight years. He was immensely popular with his fans and had over three lakh followers in his Instagram account.

Born in 1989 in Bhadson, Punjab, Khattra had been motivating the youths to exercise and give up on drugs. He was a fitness coach at Khattra Fitness Club and was also preparing to launch his own brand of fitness products after the novel coronavirus pandemic ends.

He was also quite popular in TikTok and was an ardent lover of sports. He even participated in state-level kabbadi tournaments. Khattra’s sudden demise has left the entire industry in shock.
