Over 4 lakh NEET admit cards downloaded within 3 hours of release

NTA also releases detailed health safety protocol that adheres to COVID-19 physical-cum-social distancing norms to hold the exam

Guwahati: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday released the admit cards for the NEET undergraduate (UG) level, after which over four lakh students have downloaded the admit card in the first three hours. Also, nearly 15 lakh students have registered for the exam.

Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their NEET UG admit cards from the official website at ntaneet.nic.in. The exams are all set to be conducted on September 13.

The NTA has also released a detailed health safety protocol which adheres to the COVID-19 physical-cum-social distancing norms to hold the exam.

  • Candidates will be given assigned staggered time slots for reporting to the centre to avoid crowding in the exam centres. All staff and student body temperature will be scanned by thermo gun at the entry point to the centre.

  • Any person displaying signs of above normal temperature or symptoms of COVID-19 will be placed in an isolation room.

  • Masks, gloves, transparent water bottle, sanitizer (50ml), admit card, ID card will be permitted to carry inside the exam centre.

  • Candidates will be frisked by a metal detector at security checkpoints at the centre.

  • No water dispensers will be placed in the exam centres.

  • A table will be placed in the registration room where candidates will display their exam-related documents to the centre officer.

  • There will be a minimised movement of invigilators inside the room.

  • Manual attendance will be taken in the exam centre.

  • Gloves and masks can only be disposed of in a pedal push covered bin at the centre and outside the examination hall only.

To download NEET UG admit card 2020, one must visit the official website at ntaneet.nic.in and then click on the admit card link flashing on the homepage. Then proceed to type in the application number, password, and date of birth. The admit card will then be displayed on the screen ready to be downloaded and printed.
