Accident site has been cordoned off by the police; excavator vehicles are working to remove huge chunks of concrete blocks
At least two people were injured after a portion of a 6-km-long under-construction flyover in Gurugram collapsed late on Saturday night.
According to reports, the injured have been taken to a hospital for treatment. The accident site has been cordoned off by the police. Meanwhile, excavator vehicles are working to remove huge chunks of concrete blocks from the site.
Deputy chief minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala tweeted, "Slab of elevated corridor Sohna Road Gurugram collapsed. There have been 2 injuries and both have been admitted and under treatment. NHAI team, SDM and civil defence team are at site."
Earlier on Thursday, due to torrential rains, portion of one of the busiest roads in Gurgaon had also caved in.
