Patna: Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin brother and also a BJP MLA in Bihar, on Tuesday demanded that witness related to the case must get protection. He claimed that the witness in Rajput’s death case is being threatened with the possibility of being killed.

According to Bablu, the Mumbai Police are not providing any protection to them. While speaking with leading news daily he said that the way things are unfolding a witness might get killed. Hence this is the reason for the demand for police protection.

A few days ago, the BJP MLA even demanded an apology from Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena leader. Raut previously made a controversial statement with regards to the actor’s death especially aiming it towards Rajput’s father KK Singh. Raut alleged that KK Singh’s second marriage was not acceptable to Rajput.

Rajput’s cousin then sent a legal notice to Raut over his controversial remark. Bablu even asked Raut to apologise publically within 48 hours or he might face legal action. Raut refused and said that he is only asking people to sit quietly till Mumbai Police finishes its investigation. Here, by people he meant everyone including political parties, oppositions, and even the late actor’s family.

Meanwhile, Vikas Singh who is the lawyer and fighting this sensational case on behalf of Rajput’s family holds the opinion that the late actor’s death might very well have been a murder. Additionally, on the Bihar government’s recommendation, the Centre has handed over the death case to the CBI.
