According to reports, an argument broke out between the two; following this, the SI shot his senior in his room and later ended his own life
New Delhi: A sub-inspector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) allegedly killed his senior with his service weapon before ending his life inside a bungalow allotted to the home ministry in Lodhi Estate area of Delhi, said reports.
According to reports, an argument broke out between the sub-inspector and an inspector of the 122nd CRPF Bn. After the heated argument, the SI shot his senior in his room and later ended his life near the bungalow gate at night.
The SI hailed from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir while the senior hailed from Rohtak in Haryana. Local police and paramilitary forces rushed to the spot of the incident only to find both of them lying dead.
"The incident at 61, Lodhi Estate is an aberration which seems to have been committed in the spur of the moment. An inquiry has been ordered to establish the facts and will be taken to its logical end," CRPF spokesperson Deputy Inspector General Moses Dhinakaran said while addressing the media on the incident.
