Anupam Kher's mother tests COVID-19 negative, discharged from hospital
Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher took a sigh of relief after his mother got discharged from the hospital after testing negative for COVID-19. Anupam's mother was admitted at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after she tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago.
The veteran actor took to Twitter to announce that his mother is back to the house and the doctors have declared her fit. Anupam also said that other family members along with his mother are now under quarantine at home.
Anupam thanked all his fans and got emotional in the video that he posted on the micro-blogging site. The actor said that his mother recovered quickly all because of the love and prayers of his fans and well-wishers. He added that his heart goes out to those who have more than one family member suffering from COVID-19.
Anupam wrote on Twitter, “Mom has been declared healthy by all medical parametres by the doctors at Kokilaben Hospital. She will now be quarantining at home. Love heals. Stay safe but don’t be distant emotionally from Covid+ patient/families!Doctors &@mybmc officials/employees are real HEROES. #JaiHo” (sic).
A few days ago, Anupam Kher's mother, brother, niece and sister-in-law tested positive for novel coronavirus and admitted to the hospital for treatment. Anupam's mother recovered from COVID-19 in eight days and doctors have further advised her to undergo an additional home quaratine for the next eight days.
