2 killed, 3 injured as crude bomb explodes in West Bengal
Kolkata: Two people died and three others were injured in a crude bomb explosion in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Friday night.
According to reports, a group of miscreants were making crude bombs in Ahiran area under Suti police station when one of the bombs exploded.
Two persons were killed on the spot while three others with serious injuries were rushed to the Jangipur Sub-Divisional hospital
The deceased have been identified as Citu Sheikh and Maharul Shiekh, both residents of Shamsherganj in Murshidabad.
The house that was being used to make the bombs was also completely damaged and one of the injure was later shifted to Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital when his condition worsened. Police has started an investigation into the matter.
