An FIR was filed in Jaipur against Baba Ramdev, Patanjalai CEO Acharya Balkrishna and four others. The FIR alleged that Baba Ramdev and Patanjali were "misleading" the public by promoting their new Ayurvedic medicine 'Coronil' as a cure for treating COVID-19 in humans.

The FIR was filed in Jaipur's Jyoti Nagar Police Station against Baba Ramdev, Patanjali Ayurved CEO Acharya Balkrishna, scientist Anurag Varshney, NIMS Chairman Balbir Singh Tomar and Director Anurag Tomar for allegedly misleading people of a medicine that can cure coronavirus in humans.
Balram Jakhar, the man who filed the FIR against Baba Ramdev and 5 others in Jaipur, while speaking to the media said, "FIR was filed against five people, including Ramdev for indulging in misleading propagation of Coronil."
