Resumption of international flight services suspended till July 15

New Delhi: Scheduled resumption of international commercial flight services in India have been suspended till July 15 in the wake of incerasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

According to civil aviation ministry, all scheduled international commercial passenger flight services to and from India will remain suspended till July 15.

However, domestic flight services will remain in service. Domestic flight services were resumed in the country from May 25 and India also began evacuating stranded Indians from abroad with its Vande Bharat Mission.

Earlier, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had announced that by June 30, India was considering re-opening of international flight services based on travel requests from several countries. He also said that India was looking forward to a establishing a possible individual "bilateral bubbles" between India-US, India-France, India-Germany and India-UK.
