Annup Sonii is a renowned face of Indian television with serials like ‘Balika Vadhu’, ‘CID’ & ‘Crime Patrol’ and also well known for his films like ‘Class of 83‘ and Amazon Prime’s ‘Tandav’.
The actor has now added another feather to his cap by completing a certificate course on ‘Crime Scene Investigation’ from International Forensic Sciences (IFS). IFS is registered with the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra.
The Crime Patrol host took to Instagram and Twitter to share his contentment with his fans. Alongside the picture of his certificate he wrote, “Yes it was extremely challenging, going back to ‘studies of some sort’. But definitely a choice that I am proud of.” He also added the recent lockdown made him decide to invest his time and energy into something more constructive, and hence the certificate course. Since then Sonii has been trending on social media.
For the last 11 years, Annup Sonii has been hosting the show Crime Patrol, one of the longest-running crime series in the country, which airs on Sony TV. He joined the show in 2010 for the second season. In 2017 the actor had to retire from the show in the middle of the fourth season due to his other work commitments. However, 2019 saw his return to the show.
Along with ‘Crime Patrol’, he has also been a part of the crime drama ‘CID’ for quite some time. And his present feat of completing the course on ‘Crime Scene Investigation’ has elated his friends and fans to a great extent. Here are some of the reactions to Sonii’s achievement:
