The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Nagaland Police, tasked with the investigation of the Oting killing incident on December 4, has urged people with legitimate information about the incident to come forward and share with the team.

A public notice issued on Thursday by Sandeep M Tamgadge, Addl. Director General for law and order, Nagaland Police, reads: “Any person having photos, videos, suspicious activities from primary source or any other information connected with the incident in original, not forwarded (secondary source) may kindly share it in the interest of police investigation.”

The police has urged the public to share information on +91 6009803048 through phone call or WhatsApp messaging.

“The original recorded audio/video/document would be collected from the source after following the legal procedures,” the police notice adds.
