Kohima: Two drug peddlers, including a woman, were arrested by the security forces at Zunheboto town in Nagaland following a joint operation.

According to PRO IGAR (N), based on specific inputs, the joint operation was launched on Tuesday and the two drug peddlers were apprehended.

As many as 700 SP tablets and 241 Alprazolam tablets worth Rs 33,000, along with two mobile phones, were seized during the operation.

The arrested drug peddlers along with the recovered items were handed over to the Zunheboto Police Station in Nagaland for further investigation, the PRO added.
