Kohima: The COVID-19 tally in Nagaland spiked to 25,382 on Friday as 77 new cases of COVID-19 were detected from eight districts across the state.
The new cases were detected from Dimapur (32), Kohima (16), Mokokchung (15), Mon (2), Phek (3), Tuensang (3), Wokha (4), and Zunheboto (2).
Friday’s positivity rate stood at 6.72% as the new cases were declared as positive for COVID-19 out of a total of 1145 samples that were tested. No deaths were reported.
A total of 116 COVID-19 patients also recovered from Dimapur (28), Kohima (16), Longleng (7), Mokokchung (28), Mon (4), Peren (1), Phek (3), Tuensang (15), and Zunheboto (14).

As on Friday, out of 1,280 active cases, 1,119 are asymptomatic, 113 are mild symptomatic, 30 are moderate on oxygen, eight are severe on oxygen, two are severe in ICU without ventilator, and eight are severe in ICU on ventilator.
