Kohima: All state secretariat employees must attend the state-level function to mark 75 years of India’s Independence, the state government said.
The Central government is gearing up for elaborate celebrations to mark 75 years of India’s independence.
The Information & Broadcasting Ministry said that “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” would commence 75 weeks before Independence Day 2022 and continue till Independence Day 2023.
The celebration would be at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza on Friday.
The state-level function is mandatory for all the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat and the directorates located in the vicinity of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat complex.
A circular by Principal Secretary Home, Abhijit Sinha, requested all Administrative Heads of Department (AHoD), Heads of Department (HoD) to make arrangements for taking and submitting attendance of their respective staff.
All officers and staffs attending the function are directed to be seated by 10:30 AM. They must adhere to COVID-19 appropriate behaviours in the form of wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and so on at all times.
