A candlelight vigil will be organised by citizens of Dimapur on Sunday evening to show their solidarity with the people in Myanmar protesting for their democratic rights.

The vigil will be held on March 7 at Supermarket Dimapur from 7 pm onwards. According to a social media post by Dimapur Today, the candlelight vigil will be held “to show our solidarity to the people of Myanmar who are under violent suppression by the Junta/Military.”

Since the military took over in Myanmar, there have been violent clashes across the country. According to the latest report, around 40 people have been killed during the protests
