NSCN (Khango) cadre nabbed in Dimapur by security agencies
One AK-47 rifle, one .303 rifle, and live rounds of ammunition were recovered from the militant
Guwahati: In a joint operation by Assam Rifles and Nagaland Police, an active National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Khango (NSCN-K) cadre was arrested from Dimapur on Friday.
Assam Rifles recovered an AK-47 rifle, one .303 rifle, and live rounds of ammunition from the militant.
Confirming the arrest, Assam Rifles tweeted, "Joint operation by #AssamRifles & Nagaland Police on 11 Dec results in apprehension of an active NSCN (Khango) cadre in Dimapur district. Recoveries included one AK-47 Rifle, one .303 Rifle and live rounds."
