20 from Kohima, 4 from Dimapur and 2 from Mokokchung test positive for COVID-19, taking the state tally to 3,778
Kohima: COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Nagaland as 26 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the state's tally to 3,778.
Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that the new cases were declared as positive out of 627 samples that were tested. Among the new cases, 20 are from Kohima, four are from Dimapur and two are from Mokokchung.
The current COVID-19 status in Nagaland is:
Death: 8 (One death is COVID-19 positive but not due to COVID-19 and therefore has not been reflected in the tally)
Taking to Twitter, Phom tweeted: "26 fresh +ve cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the State out of 627 samples tested.
20 in Kohima, 4 in Dimapur & 2 in Mokokchung. With this, the State has 1149 active cases with 2611 recovered out of 3778 total +ve cases detected".
