2 more from Zunheboto test COVID positive; 100 from Dimapur, 21 from Kohima, 4 from Mon, 3 from Zunheboto discharged; state tally touches 3,686
Kohima: After 49 new cases were detected in Nagaland on Sunday, another two more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the state's total number of confirmed cases to 3,686. A total of 51 new cases were detected in the state on Friday.
The new cases are from Zunheboto and are through traced contacts. Among 49 persons who were earlier declared as positive for COVID-19, 28 of them are armed forces personnel, 12 are through traced contacts, six are frontline workers from Kohima, and three are returnees from Dimapur.
Among the armed forces personnel, 22 are from Kohima, five are from Dimapur and one is from Mokokchung. Among the traced contacts, five are from Mon, three are from Kohima, and two each are from Tuensang and Dimapur. In addition to the two new cases detected from Zunheboto, a total of 14 persons through traced contacts have tested positive.
Meanwhile, another 128 persons have recovered from COVID-19 on Sunday. Among the new recovered cases, 100 are from Dimapur, 21 are from Kohima, four are from Mon and three are from Zunheboto. The recovery rate increased to 62.24%.

Death: 8 (One COVID-19 death is positive but not due to COVID-19. Therefore, it is not reflected in the tally).
As per the 1,376 active cases, 1,355 are asymptomatic cases, 20 from Dimapur are mild moderate and one from Dimapur are mild symptomatic.
