Naga Students' Federation directs its federating bodies to submit a compliance report along with pictorial proof
Kohima: To commemorate the 74th 'Naga Independence Day' amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) directed all its federating units and subordinate bodies to hoist the 'Naga flag' on the occasion on August 14.
A press statement from NSF vice president Dievi Yano and general secretary Liremo R Kikon said that the federation regrets its inability to commemorate the Naga Independence Day programme on August 14 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic and the SOPs set in place by the authorities concerned.
"However, the federation will be hoisting the Naga national flag at its Oking, Kohima to mark the occasion," it said and further directed all the federating units and subordinate bodies of the NSF to hoist the Naga National Flag at their respective Oking to mark the 74th Naga Independence Day on August 14.
It added: "Compliance report along with pictorial proof may be forwarded to the office of the Naga Students’ Federation for documentation."
