Nagaland: Russia's V-Rox Festival partners with Hornbill Music Festival

The partnership hopes to explore avenues and platforms for exchange of music, art and culture between the two festivals

Kohima: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday announced that the Hornbill Music Festival and V-rox festival, Vladivostok, Russia will be festival partners.

The two music festivals will be partnering to explore avenues and platforms for exchange of music, art and culture between the two festivals and between Russia and India.

"I am happy to know that V-Rox Festival - Vladivostok, Russia and Hornbill Music Festival Nagaland, India, will be festival partners. Congratulations and I hope the collaboration will foster bilateral interest in music, art and culture and will be enriching for both the countries," the chief minister tweeted.

Adviser of the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) exclaimed that the partnership has become "a historic day for two Music Festivals of two Great Nations".

The TaFMA also acknowledged the chief minister saying, "Thank you Hon’ble CM @Neiphiu_Rio for inspiring the arts industry to always dream big, to reach out and push the envelop of creativity and area of influence".
