Nagaland: COVID-19 cases soar to 656 as 12 more test positive
Kohima: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Nagaland spiked to 656 as 12 more persons tested positive on Wednesday. Out of the 12, nine are from Dimapur, and one each from the districts of Kohima, Mon and Mokokchung.
Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom informed that the 12 samples returned positive out of 432 samples sent for testing. The total active cases in the state now stands at 353 and the number of recovered cases at 303.
Taking to twitter, the minister informed: "Update! Out of 432 samples tested, 12 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 9 from Dimapur & 1 each from Kohima, Mon & Mokokchung respectively.
