9 more tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday

Kohima: With nine more persons testing positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning, the state’s tally for COVID-19 cases went up to 177. 88 persons have recovered, the number of active cases stands at 89.

Minister of health and family welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed that these nine persons were tested positive out of the 418 samples that were sent for testing.

While five persons are from Dimapur, four are from the quarantine centre in Peren.

Taking to twitter, Phom tweeted: “9 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 418 samples tested. 5 from Dimapur QC & 4 from Peren QC.

Positive : 177

Active : 89

Recovered : 88

Death : 00

Update at 8: 30 am, 15th June, 2020”

On Sunday, 12 persons have recovered from COVID-19 taking the number of recovered cases to 88.
