The orders does not apply to those persons who have already entered the State before May 18 from Orange and Green Zones
Kohima: In partial modification of the standard operating procedure (SOP) issued by the state government which stated that persons returning from green and orange zones will undergo three days of mandatory quarantine at a facility.
Nagaland chief secretary, Temjen Toy, on Monday notified that “irrespective of place of origin of the journey, returnees shall undergo mandatory 14 days Institutional quarantine at designated centres and thereafter proceed for 14 days mandatory home quarantine”.
It also said that persons above the age of 60 years, children below the age of 10 years and parents and pregnant women and accompanying spouse shall be thoroughly screened and on the advice of the Medical Team at the Quarantine Center, be sent for mandatory Home Quarantine for 28 days with active surveillance.
The order does not apply to those persons who have already entered the State before May 18 from Orange and Green Zones and have not crossed Red Zones en route to the State. All other provisions of the SOP issued vide NO. ACS / FC / COVID-19/2020/60, dated 14.05.2020 shall continue to be in effect, the order added.
