State govt holds high-level meeting chaired by CM Neiphiu Rio; decides to close down all educational institutions from March 17 to April 12 following coronavirus pandemic
Kohima: The Nagaland government, through a high-level meeting held on Monday, decided to close down all educational institutions in the state following the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic across the globe.
The shutdown on all educational institutions will begin from March 17 till April 12. This was announced through a high-level meeting convened by chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
Taking to twitter, the State's DIPR dessiminated the information tweeting: "All Education Institutions in Nagaland will remain closed in Nagaland from 17 March 2020 to 12th April 2020 in view of the outbreak of COVID-19.
