Dimapur: The Sumi and Chakhesang Nagas have resolved to further strengthen their ties among themselves. They took this pledge while celebrating their 8th 'Brotherhood Meet' at Shukhuvi village in Dimapur in Nagaland on Tuesday.

Posting on his official Twitter handle, Tokheho Yepthomi, the lone member of Lok Sabha from Nagaland, wrote: "Honored and privileged to be a part of Sumi-Chakesang brotherhood meet at Shokhuvi village. Such meets will strengthen the spirit of oneness amongst out Naga people. I congratulate our tribal Hoho leaders for this great meet".

Addressing the gathering at the meet, Yepthomi urged the need for Nagas to accept each other and come together as one, irrespective of the tribes.
