Kohima: Music Task Force (MTF) advisor Theja Meru recently announced the state government's new initiatives, ‘Think Fest’ and ‘Open House’, in which artistes from all fields, including dancers, will be benefited. It will promote the creation of a “new creative economy", he added.

‘Think Fest’ will be flagged off soon, beginning with the capital Kohima, where the best musicians, artists and dancers/choreographers will come to the state and train enthusiasts.

The other initiative, ‘Open House’, will touch all corners of the state where the MTF will sponsor dancers, artists and musicians to further encourage them.

Meru made the announcement on the stage of the K-pop star Jang Hanbyul's tour held in Kohima recently. He mentioned that the "love for Korea" is huge in the state and highlighted that one must not forget the hardworking nature of the Koreans that have made them a global phenomenon.

Saying that the theme of this small country (Korea) is "You can do it, if you do it", he mentioned how this (theme) has transformed Korea. He encouraged all young minds to apply this approach to see a change in Naga society.

The winners of Musik-A online contest got their chance to perform on the stage before the concert began. These Naga artists sang and danced to Korean music. Alobo Naga said that out of 50 entries, 13 were selected and 5 got to perform in Kohima.
