Opposition Congress tweets video that shows leader entering poll station wearing BJP scarf, casting vote multiple times
Kohima: The opposition Congress has accused Nagaland deputy chief minister Yanthungo Patton of violating poll code by entering a polling station in Wokha district wearing a BJP scarf and also of casting multiple votes.
The Congress has asked the chief election officer of Nagaland to take cognizance of the “illegal and blatant act”.
In a video doing the rounds on social media, the deputy CM can be seen wearing a scarf bearing BJP’s name and its lotus symbol. He can be seen entering a polling booth and handing over several electoral photo ID cards.
Voting for the only Lok Sabha seat and the by-poll for Aonglenden constituency was held in the state on Thursday.
