The megastars of popular music collaborate for a fun reggaeton party track. “SG” is looking to be this year’s big hit, and even more listenable than 2018’s overplayed “Taki Taki”.
2. Jack White – Taking Me Back
Jack White, the musician behind the band The White Stripes and the sports anthem “Seven Nation Army”, is back after what was a lengthy period of absence to release “Taking Me Back”.
The rock song, which has plenty of fuzz and an overdriven guitar, is for the soundtrack of the new video game ‘Call of Duty: Vanguard’. Accompanying this track is also an acoustic version of the same song which goes back to White’s bluegrass roots, titled “Take Me Back (Gently)“.
3. Ashnikko – Halloweenie IV: Innards
It’s become an annual ritual for pop artist Ashnikko to release a Halloween-themed song every October month. In comes “Innards”, a splashy bass-heavy remake of the classical piece “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Grieg. It’s an endlessly fun song to listen to as you get ready for the spooky season.
4. ENNY X Odeal – Bernie Mac
The two British-Nigerian rappers have more in common than just being from London. Both have a charismatic toughness to them that is, in equal measure, endearing and entertaining in their new track “Bernie Mac”.
5. Flo Milli – Ice Baby – A COLORS SHOW
Flo Milli is back and in her top form with her new song performed live on COLORS SHOW. Some lyrical highlights from “Ice Baby”: “The reason I’m different, I do what you don’t / You do what you can and I do what I want.” “Scary-ass ho / Lookin’ like Cinderella lost her shoe / That lil’ budget won’t make me move”.
6. Duran Duran – HAMMERHEAD (feat. Ivorian Doll)
Duran Duran is a legendary new wave band from the 80s but continues to make spirited music even today, releasing their latest album ‘Future Past’ this week. A standout track here sees the English band collaborate with the unlikeliest artist ever in the form of Ivorian Doll, a rapper from the London drill scene. Ivorian hits the ball out of the park with her verse and makes us wish she stayed longer on this fire track.

7. Ananya Birla – Deny Me
Ananya Birla seems to be taking notes from the success of Dua Lipa’s hit single “Levitating” with its disco-pop sounds and the rhythmic clapping of hands that have become familiar to pop listeners. “Deny Me”, nevertheless, succeeds in being an addictive tune.

Spanish producer Javier Falquet, the man behind GARABATTO, remixes Dua Lipa’s latest single “Love Again” into a catchy track that will set the party mood.

We get a new Freestyle from UK drill rapper Abigail Asante. We’re reminded of how dull the female drill scene can be without her spicy bars and straight heat.
10. MARINA – I Love You But I Love Me More (feat. Beach Bunny)
Greek-Welsh popstar MARINA gifts her fans, known as Diamonds, a new remake of “I Love You But I Love Me More” but this time, featuring Chicago-based band Beach Bunny. The ‘Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land’ era isn’t quite over yet.
11.Sevdaliza – Oh My God (Sleepnet X Sevdaliza Remix)

The English singer begins the song with a vocal style that reminds one of Lily Allen in “Littlest Things”, such as the delicate singing and the melody. However, “Tiptoeing” goes on to be a unique creature of its own, and a beautiful one at that.
16. Maya Jane Coles – Got Me (feat. Julia Stone)
The British DJ manages to create yet another cool and sexy dance track that musically balances bravado with desperation. Coles seems to have a great rapport with female vocalists who feature on her tracks such as Claudia Kane and now, Julia Stone.
