VibesMojo got an exclusive opportunity to listen to some tracks from the EP and we couldn’t help but give out some spontaneous dance moves while listening to their beautifully crafted grooves and melodies. It was an immense pleasure and also an honour to get the opportunity of an exclusive listening session during the lockdown, a very unique opportunity we should say.
During the listening session, Vibesmojo shot some random questions to know how stocked they were. The front-woman of the band Luli Yeptho exclaimed, “I can’t wait for you guys to listen to it and groove along with the beat!” Yeptho with her powerful voice tagged along with her free flowing attitude have been slaying the stage since the inception of the band.
The newest addition to the band Temsujungba Jamir said, “Enjoyed working with these four geniuses in my band and all of us contributed something out of our creativity and enjoyed every bit of the journey through out the making of our EP.” Jamir has been around the band since its inception helping the band out with the guitar as a session guitarist.
Tako Chang the guy with the million dollar smile also joined the flow of the chat and added, “The EP holds a very special place in each one of our hearts. Every song from the lyric to the tune has a story to convey of its own. We have engraved and poured our emotions, excitement and passion for music into this EP.”
The guy behind the sweet sounding guitar melodies has been creating some iconic riffs for the band.
The man behind bringing out the groovy beats and sexy fills Sosang Longkumer spilled the beans on how the EP came to be a reality.
“We recorded the song with Nash Lkr and the mixing and mastering was done at Ode studio by Tongpang Kichu in Delhi. Also the EP art work was done by Tekalong who has been doing the bands artwork from the very beginning,” the skin slammer said.
A very crucial and a very responsible character in the band, Imnamaong Imchen adds the flavour with the low ends enhancing the flavours with his subtle articulation of each and every song in the EP. Imchen said that the EP would be released on May 8 in all the major song streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, OK Listen etc. Imchen concluded the chat by saying “For the team, the process on developing the current EP has been a spectacular experience and insightful for the outlook of the band itself.”
Ending the chat with VibesMojo, the band Trance Effect had a line to sign it off, “Took us a while to get this done, we hope it can heal souls and also inspire many young musicians like us.”
