Making the perfect gown for brides hoping to look unique and different on their wedding day is a daunting task. Bambi Kevichusa is making this effortless with her exclusive and intricately designed bridal attires.The young designer Bambi Kevichusa, who wears an amicable smile every time someone visits her, runs a cosy little space called Windfall at Fellowship Colony in Dimapur, Nagaland. Bambi Kevichusa range of delicately crafted garments has caught the eyes of many across town, and outside.
In an exclusive with VibesMojo, Kevichusa said, “My joy, especially when I do bridal wear is to tap into that and to take up the challenge of designing a dress that is unique [to] the bride.”
The fashion designer has quickly gained prominence, and also launched her own label ‘BambiK’ which focuses on casual wear last year.
Bambi Kevichusa was pursuing fashion design and tailoring course in Mumbai at Zarapkar College of Fashion, which was very tailoring-oriented and later on she moved to Australia to pursue higher studies in designing. She was offered a lucrative job in Australia but turned it down. She said, perhaps, destiny had it for her to come back home and start her venture here.

Bambi Kevichusa has a very unique approach to the term ‘competition’. She is of the view that the world is too big and that there is space for everyone to create something beautiful. Apart from being a designer, she is also a musician and she admits that her primary source of inspiration to create something beautiful comes from music. She also has a plan to venture out into a bigger world with her label BambiK and is expecting to sell her garments to across the country and the world as well.
