Good news for music lovers. YouTube has introduced the ‘Smart Downloads’ feature that allows music lovers to keep on listening to favourite tracks even without an Internet connection. The new feature will automatically download up to a count of 500 songs once the user has pressed the ‘like’ button on. The developed feature will be available for YouTube Music premium subscribers having Android devices.
Once activated, this feature will select the favourite stories of the user and ensure that they are available for faster downloads anywhere. The Youtube smart downloads will start once the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi connection and will happen overnight. The users can select the songs they want to download and queue them on the list.

Smart Downloads is an extension of the Offline Mixtape feature that was available earlier. The Mixtape feature is still available alongside the new Smart Downloads for YouTube.
