After teaming up for Piku, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone have once again come together for their latest project ‘The Intern’. Padukone took to her Instagram handle and announced that Amitabh Bachchan is going to replace Rishi Kapoor in this movie.
Rishi Kapoor passed away last year and fans were eagerly waiting for an update on this movie after his death.
Hollywood movie ‘The Intern’ was released in 2015 and directed by Nancy Meyers. Deepika Padukone shared the poster of the movie on her Instagram with a sweet message for her favourite co-star, Amitabh Bachchan. She captions it as, “What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again!💛 Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern.” She is also the co-producer of the film.
Take a look at the poster shared by the actress.
The poster is indeed quite subtle. With a yellow background, we can see the shadow-figure of both actors, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, in a typical office-going look.
Taking to Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan also shared the poster of the film while tagging the member associated with the movie. He wrote, “One more time Indian Adaptation of The Intern. Looking forward.” Take a look!
