Rs 160.88 crore received from Central pool and Rs 265.95 crore from state fund, chief minister Zoramthanga, who is also PWD minister in state, informs Assembly
Aizawl: The Mizoram government has spent more than Rs 426.84 core for construction of road during the current fiscal 2019-2020, chief minister Zoramthanga told the state legislature on Wednesday.
The minister also said that Rs 160.88 crore was received from the Central pool and Rs 265.95 crore from state fund.
Zoramthanga, who is also the PWD minister, said that more than Rs 874.63 core has been spent for construction of roads in the state during the fiscal 2017-2018.
Of the Rs 874.63 crore, Rs 613.95 crore was from state fund and Rs 260.67 crore from central fund.
He said that the state government also spend Rs 604.49 crore from state fund and Rs 157.03 crore from Central fund altogether amounting to over Rs 761.53 crore for construction of roads across the state during the last fiscal 2018-2019.
