Kipjen further expounded on the name of the tournament ‘Break Free’ which is a call for youths to break away from anti-social behaviour and substance abuse.

Talking about the event, T-Coleve event director Rinlungso ZAS said that despite cue sports being a relatively niche sport in the district, we’ve been seeing local pool and snooker enthusiasts for a few years now.

So, it is an honour to be holding the first event of its kind in the district and we are proud of having brought this much-needed platform for the potential local talents in cue sports, he added.

T-Coleve is a collective of enthusiastic individuals from diverse fields who’re banding together for ‘Break Free Pool & Snooker Tournament’ and for more purposeful events in the future. Whereas, SAM Group is a private venture based in Ukhrul whose portfolio, in a span of just over a year since its establishment in 2020, has branched out to several sectors namely Food & Beverage, poultry services, HoReCa, entertainment and B&M services.

  1. Playing snooker has one of the best goals: use the cue ball to create other balls fall into the pot in the right order. The goal is to obtain extra points than the opponent to win a round. The frame is a single game unit used in snooker. The World Snooker Championship is most prestigious tournaments in the calendar and also the leading event to bet on among the sport’s punters. I love this game.
