“Startup Standup initiative is one of the examples for employment generation and creation of more entrepreneurs. Unemployment is an issue not just in Manipur but in many other states but we have created more entrepreneurs to minimise and eradicate the unemployment problem. That is why we earmarked Rs 30 crore for the initiative,” minister Biswajit told EastMojo after his flag hoisting ceremony at Thongju assembly constituency in Imphal East.
This time, we will earmark Rs 100 crore, so that we can create more entrepreneurs and minimise the unemployment problem in the state, he said.
Biswajit further stated that the alternative name of the BJP is development and the party is trying to touch the people’s heart while ensuring that it reaches out to each and everyone in the state.
While highlighting the developmental feat of the BJP government in Manipur in the last five years, Singh said that bandhs and blockades have been controlled and many commitments made before the formation of the first BJP government in the state was accomplished, and people’s confidence in the party has also increased.
