Imphal: Manipur on Friday reported 13 more fatalities and 732 new COVID-19 cases, taking the death toll in the state to 761 and the coronavirus caseload to 47,843 so far.
The total number of active cases now stands at 7,602, of which 7,529 are from the general population and 73 from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Of the 732 new COVID-19 cases, 213 were reported from Imphal West, 170 from Imphal East, 83 from Thoubal, 73 from Bishnupur, 64 from Kakching, 62 from Churachandpur, 20 from Ukhrul, 19 from Kangpokpi, six each from Pherzawl and Tamenglong, five from Senapati, four from Chandel, three each from Jiribam and Noney, and one from Tengnoupal district, respectively.

Of the new fatalities, four each were reported from Imphal West and Imphal East, two each from Bishnupur and Thoubal and one from Ukhrul.
On Friday, 579 more persons recovered from the disease and were discharged. With this, the current recovery rate in the state is 82.51%.
