Imphal: The total positive cases for COVID-19 in Manipur on Thursday now stands at 30,047, after 86 new positive cases, including an air passenger, tested positive in the last 24 hours. The state now has 513 active cases.

According to the latest health bulletin, the new positive cases include 31 from Imphal East, 17 from Imphal West, 14 from Kakching, nine from Churachandpur, six from Bishnupur, four from Thoubal, two each from Chandel and Senapati and one from Kangpokpi, respectively.

Meanwhile, one more person from Imphal East district, aged 56, succumbed to the virus. Manipur’s death toll now stands at 381.

The government once again reminded people that air passengers who travelled to the state on April 20 by Indigo flights 6E-524 in rows 5-11, on April 15 by Air India flight AI-713 seated in rows 11-17 are requested to inform the Common COVID Control Room 1800-345-3818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO) immediately.
