New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is back in the news over a goof-up that he made while releasing the party manifesto in New Delhi.

In a viral Twitter clip, the AAP leader is heard saying 'Maniland', instead of Manipur, while addressing the media.

On April 25, the Delhi CM talking about full statehood for Delhi said, “Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Assam, from Gujarat to Maniland, Manipur, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir to Kerala, all states have the status of the full state, and they chose their own government, wherein they have the powers to fulfill people’s need and requirement, then why not with Delhi?”

Though Kejriwal immediately rectified his mistake, Twitteratis didn’t spare the CM for apparently merging the names of Manipur and Nagaland to make a new name called Maniland. The micro-blogging site was filled with Kejriwal memes and GIFs.

This wasn’t the first time Kejriwal has made such a gaffe. In May last year, he had referred to the state of Uttarakhand as ‘Uttara Prachand’.
