In the Twitter post, Guwahati police asked the social media users: “Where is the most popular place to buy Ganja in Guwahati?”.
Using a caricature of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s character from the movie Kabir Singh in the tweet, Guwahati police wrote that it “Wanted to buy it in Wholesale Rate !! Can Anyone Suggest????????????”
The tweet has been lauded by users as an effective medium to bring the public closer to the police.
