Xiaomi recently introduced its premium smartphone of 2021 – the Mi 11 Ultra in India. While the launch happened back in April, it hasn’t been made available for users yet. But this might happen soon!
According to a report, Xiaomi is expected to start selling the Mi 11 Ultra in India in early July. It is suggested that Mi Homes has started taking people’s interests into consideration and is expected to revert them on the same in the first week of July. In case you want to buy the Xiaomi flagship, you can simply call up any Mi Home store and let them know of your interest. You will get a call back whenever the device is in stock.
Xiaomi also had a discussion with its retail partners in India regarding the Mi 11 Ultra stocks. With all this, we can expect the ‘Superphone’ to go on sale in India in the first week of next month. It can be extended to the second half too. The phone is expected to be made available via both offline and online stores simultaneously. However, Xiaomi is yet to announce an official sale date.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra India: Specifications
The handset features a 6.81-inch quad-curve E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels and a density of a whopping 515 ppi. If the resolution alone isn’t impressive, this pane also supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and has a brightness of up to 1,700 knits. The handset display also has a punched hole notch in the upper left corner and features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The most interesting detail is the small 1.1-inch AMOLED display inside the huge camera island. It has a resolution of 294 x 126 pixels and provides 450 knit brightness.
Inside is the Almighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC built with a 5nm manufacturing process. Graphic tasks are handled by the Adreno 660 GPU. The handset has 12GB of LPPDR5RAM and 256 UFS 2.1 storage in India. It launches Android 11 based MIUI 12 as soon as it’s out of the box. Expect the new version to be already updated with MIUI 12.5.
On the optical side, there is a large rectangular module on the back of the smartphone. In addition to the secondary display, it has an impressive triple camera setup. The primary module is a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 sensor, the secondary camera is a 48MP ultra wide-angle lens, and finally a 48MP telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom. Go to the front and you’ll find a 20MP camera for selfies.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra India draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The handset also supports high-speed wireless charging up to 67W. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
