Ahead of the grand finale of Money Heist or La Casa De Papel, the makers of the show have announced a spinoff of one of its most popular characters – Berlin.

Netflix decided that the story will continue through its most popular yet controversial character. In its announcement, Netflix also said that in the Korean version of Money Heist, Berlin’s character will be played by Squid Game’s Park Hae-soo.

The journey of the popular Spanish series ‘Money Heist’ might come to an end, but they are definitely planning to expand the heist universe.

In a global event, the makers of the series announced that a spin-off show centering on popular character ‘Berlin’ will be streaming on Netflix in 2023.

Taking to Twitter, Netflix shared a post quoting “This heist might be coming to an end, but the story continues.”

There are no details about the new show’s plot and how the makers plan to show Berlin’s journey even though the character had died towards the end of season two of ‘Money Heist’. But, it will be interesting to see his journey.

Berlin, born as Andrés de Fonollosa, is the elder brother of Sergio aka Professor. Although there are no details about the new show’s plot, netizens are excited to see what the makers of the show have in store for the audience.

Will we get to see how Berlin and Professor grew up and their bromance? What about Berlin’s Tatiana? How did Berlin turn out to be Berlin? Well, we will have to wait and see.
