South Korean girl K-Pop band BLACKPINK revealed the first poster of their upcoming film titled ‘THE MOVIE’ on Monday and said, “Coming Soon August 2021.”
As a gift to all their fans worldwide, Jennie, Rose, Lisa, and Jisoo announced that they will release the film to mark their five glorious years in the music industry.
YG Entertainment shared last Wednesday that the first part of the group’s 5th-anniversary project – titled ‘4+1 PROJECT’ – will drop in August that coincides with BLACKPINK’s debut date – August 8.
The film will be screened in Korea by CGV along with hundred other countries globally.
BLACKPINK is one of the biggest K-Pop icons and reports suggest that the film will also consist of five songs from their concert tours.
BLACKPINK previously released the ‘BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky’ documentary film in 2020. The four members of the band also made it to the list of Top-10 most popular K-Pop artists around the world.
