Aizawl: Mizoram on Saturday reported 932 new Covid-19 cases, the second consecutive day in which the state reported less than 1,000 cases in a single day, an official said.
The Covid-19 count reached 1,11,651 while the death toll rose to 380 as 6 more people have succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours, he said
The single-day positivity rate was 13.71 per cent as the fresh cases were detected from 6,806 sample tests, he said. Aizawl district reported the highest number of fresh cases at 643, followed by Lunglei district (71) and Siaha district (63), he said.
At least 185 children were among the newly infected people, he said.
The number of Covid-19 active cases now stands at 13,316, while 97,955 people have recovered from the infection.
The recovery rate among Covid-19 patients is 87.73 per cent and the death rate is 0.34 per cent.
The state has conducted more than 12.13 lakh sample tests for COVID-19 till date.

Over 6.89 lakh people have been vaccinated till Friday, of which 4.9 lakh people have received full dose of Covid-19 vaccine, state immunisation officer Dr Lalzawmi said.
