Gangtok: The Sikkim government will impose curfew after 10 pm in public spaces like restaurants, bars, disco, pub, gym. Vehicular movements will not be allowed after 10:30 pm with immediate effect.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Prem Singh Golay, following the video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the recent rise in COVID cases in the country.
Chief Minister appealed to the people of Sikkim to regularly wear masks and continue to follow social distancing and COVID protocols to remain safe from the disease.
The Chief Ministers of all the states including the heads of the Union Territories were also present during the conference.
