Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson and family members test positive for COVID-19

Actor and retired wrestler Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson, and his family members have contracted the COVID-19 infection.

The 48-year-old actor took to Instagram to inform this, he said, "My wife Lauren, my two baby girls, and myself, have all tested positive for COVID-19. This has been one of the most challenging thing we had to endure as a family."

Johnson, 48, his wife Lauren, 35, and their kids Jasmine, 4, and Tiana, 2, tested positive about two-and-a-half weeks ago. The actor said, "However, we're on the other end of it and no longer contagious. Thank God, we're healthy."

The Rock stated, "Testing positive for COVID-19 is a lot different than recovering from nasty injuries, getting evicted or being broke, which I've been more than a few times."

He added, "The reason I feel this is different is my No. 1 priority is to always protect my family, protect my children, my loved ones... so this one was a real kick in the gut. But I am happy to tell you guys that we as a family are good."

One of the highest paid actor in the work, Johnson further urged people to wear masks, as it has nothing to do with politics, but is the right thing to do.
