Pvt schools in Assam to waive off 25% fees during COVID-19 outbreak

The government of Assam has issued a circular stating that all private schools must waive off 25% of school fees for this year. According to the circular, school fees will be waived off for the students of pre-primary to Class XII in private schools.

The circular was also tweeted by Assam education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stating that the reduction of fees will be applicable from May 1, 2020 till the formal and physical reopening of schools in the state. READ MORE
