Tripura reports 1 more COVID-19 related death, toll soars to 37
Agartala: Tripura’s tally of COVID-19 related deaths soared to 37 with one more patient succumbing to the coronavirus at Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) Hospital in Agartala on Friday.
With this, the total number of confirmed cases now stands at 6,014, including 1,875 active and 4,084 recovered cases so far.
Tripura has reported seven COVID-19 related deaths within 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 media bulletin informed that currently 251 persons are under facility quarantine, while 3,691 are under home quarantine. A total of 224 persons were discharged from different COVID Care Centres in the last 24 hours.
So far, a total of 1,95,762 samples have collected, out of which 1,94,005 were tested and 6,000 persons have tested positive for the virus, with 37 deaths and 1,875 active cases so far.
The positivity rate stands at 3.03%, test per million at 48,530 while the recovery rate stands at 71.34% and mortality rate at 0.63%.
